Documentary movie and pictures
Most of my work is with kids and families.
I work also on some personal documentary projects.
In this context I met a group of women who cook every week for refugees.
I took pictures and participated in a film about their work.
This summer I am preparing other projects around this theme …. but I will tell you about it later.
The Hope Forever Association
Hope Foreever is a non-profit association, located in Brussels.
One of their activities is to cook and distribute meals for refugees (asylum seekers) in Brussels. This dynamic women’s group meets weekly and cooks a few hundred meals.
They give of their time and their energy for several years. Every Friday they cook in the afternoon and distribute evening meals at Maximilien Park.
I met them several times as part of a video training organised by the school WISIWIG.
H24 – the movie
A very beautiful film was produced following these meetings by Denis Lécuyer, head of the school WISIWIG. I participated in some of the shots and video shots.
They need support
Every week the women of Hope Forever are looking for donations.
You can give ingredients or money to help them continue to prepare meals.
